Kate first gained recognition as a stand out comedian in 2019 as a regional finalist in the Funny Women UK Awards, by 2023 she was a state finalist in the NSW RAW Comedy competition and in 2024 won the Adelaide Fringe Emerging Artist Award. Other notable work includes Sydney Comedy Festival Gala, Sydney Comedy Festival Fresh Artist, Best of The Fest: New Class (UK). Her debut show A Different Kind of Unhinged received critical acclaim with a 4-star reviews from The List, calling her a "phenomenal emerging comic" and Chortle noting she's a "future star". Kate has been listed in the UK national news publication Metro as acts to remember from the 2024 Edinburgh festival and was profiled by the New York Times: Australia publication in "The Women Changing the Local Comedy Scene" article, alongside Jenny Tian, Sashi Perera, and Alexandra Hudson, discussing her unique style of comedy and her way of pushing stylistic boundaries.
